Women’s Voices in a Latino New York – October 13

I am so pleased to let you all know that VOCES, the Latino Heritage Employee Network of The New York Times Company, and The
Hispanic New York Project of Columbia University’s American Studies Program is hosting a great eventon October 13th from
6-8 pm to hear women's voices in a panel discussion with
Esmeralda Santiago (When I Was Puerto Rican,
Almost a Woman
, and The Turkish Lover),
Elvira Lindo Garrido (Una palabra tuya, Manolito Four-Eyes),and Annecy Báez
(My Daughter’s Eyes and Other Stories).

The panel will be moderated by Claudio Iván Remeseira. Wine & cheese reception and book sale by
Librería Lectorum’s
representatives.
